My favorite school event is Sports Day.

In our school, we have Sports Day in September.

In this picture, students are running hard in the school yard.

We practice very hard for it. It’s very tiring, but it’s exciting!

I like it.

Sports Day has many events.

My favorite events are relay and jump rope.

They are very exciting.  I like them too.

Sports Day is a lot of fun. We enjoy it very much.

I can’t wait for it.

Parents are cheering too.

Students are running in the school yard.

They are running hard and fast.

It’s very exciting!

And after, we jump rope.

It’s so tiring, but it’s exciting!

Students cheer in a loud voice.

Their parents come and cheer them too.

Sports Day has three athletics.

The first is an interclass relay race.

The third is “Tsunage! Yujo-no Kakehashi!”

In this picture, students are jumping on a card board.

It’s so hard, but it’s fun!

Some students win. So they are happy.

Other students lose. So they are unhappy.

In our school, we have a walk-a-thon in May.

We have many questions at check points.

Some students are talking with groupmates.

Others are looking at the map.

We have a school trip to Tokyo in June, but we can’t go.

Students learn about some Japanese towns.

They go to the downtown in Tokyo.

They walk around the town and study with their groupmates.

Also, they can go to Disneyland.
